My Big Sis, I have so many great memories of her throughout my life. Although there were almost 21 years difference in our age, she always made me feel, as she did everyone else, that we were something special. I remember the time when I was staying with her in Salinas, and she planned a pic-nic. She cooked all day, fried chicken, potatoe salad, and everything inbetween. By the time the food was prepared, it was getting to be dark, but we went to the park anyway, and that was the best fried chicken I ever had. She wanted everything to be special, and perfect for everyone. I remember as a teenager, everytime Mom would have a get-together, she would say, Suzy will drive you home. And I would, but it was a struggle, because she thought it was a burden on me. I only hope that she knew I loved doing that for her. She was a very independent person, that loved doing for others. We all love and miss her so deeply, and wish we could keep her with us forever. Her love will be with me forever, and who knows, maybe I will get to see her again. Love You, My Big Sis. sharris1@cruzio.com
